Subscription Management
It is possible to regsiter a product in BigCommerce to use as a means to charge for subscriptions. Subscriptions can be set up for any purpose. This is how they work:
1. A product is created in BigCommerce to represent the subscription.
2. Once registered, the product will sync through to Umbraco and will be stored in the "Products and Services" node.
3. The product can be enabled as a "Subscription Product" and a billing interval selected
4. Umbraco CMS uses "groups" so grant access to resources. You can select which group a user should be added to once they purchase the subscription.
5. Once live, a user can then purchase a "subscription" in the same way they purchase any product. However, with a compatible payment provider such as Stripe, their card details will be stored (with the payment provider) and their resulting BigCommerce "order" is repeated (and charged) at the desired interval (seleced in point #4 above)
6. Active subscriptions can be managed on the Subscription Manager page:
